... since  three-fourths year i am totally addicted to Red Sun Revival's divine filigree good old handmade Gothic Rock ... to their debut record "Running From The Dawn" and their 2nd record "Identities"...
 
... via a Gothic Rock Group on Facebook i got my first contact to Red Sun Revival, to their first video "My Child"... as you here can see an listen to:


... but i wasn't in the right mood, so i just posted, that this songs sounds great ... but after a few weeks i was in the right mood ...
... after watching their second video "Mistakes"... as you here can see an listen to:

... and after some references i visited the official webpage of Red Sun Revival ... hoping to find some songs i could completely listen to ... and under the heading Listen i find those songs who are guilty for my totally addiction to this divine filigree and absolutely catchy songs, which Red Sun Revival have shared via Soundcloud, and which were all taken from their debut record:

.... i totally couldn't resist i had to listen to these divine songs again and again ... after i ordered my copy even more ...

... in opposition to in former times i didn`t listen to new bought records on CD at once, but convert the songs with Soundjuicer into OGG-Vorbis-Musicfiles, thereby i am always able to listen to the complete record on my Multimedia-Player, my PCs, my Netbook, etc. ... 

... first of all i listen to Red Sun Revival complete debut record "Running From The Dawn" via my hi-fi system with my good Senheiser headphones just to strike the right sound at night ...

 ... and i was absolutely thoroughly positivly shocked by this absoutely divine breathtaking filigree guitar sound played by Matt Helm, the pulsating and driving force of Panos Theodoropoulos bass guitar, Christina Emery dreamfully violin and indeed of Rob Lydon powerfull intensively voice...

... well indeed i was totally absorded by this divine breathtaking catchy songs since the first listening ... therefore i listen to the record over and over again everywhere ...

... since my youth i am totally addicted to filigree handmade guitar sound such as from the highlight time of The Mission, and indeed my absolutely favorite band Fields of The Nephilim ... 

... therefore i am still searching for any new band, or first of all new Gothic Rock band with such filigree guitar sound ... more than two decades faded away ... and i really couldn't find such a band ... until i have listened to Red Sun Revival for the first time ...

... since more than 22 years Red Sun Revival to me is the first new group which create such an good old handmade sound with absolute filigree guitar sound =) ...

... listen to every song of Red Sun Revival and you can really hear that all the songs where handmade like in the good old Gothic Rock days, especially like in the highlight time of The Mission, Fields of the Nephilim in the 1990th ...

... and indeed ... all records, even all songs, of Red Sun Revival really sounds like mixed in the good old vinyl record time with clear and explicit sound of all instruments ... Thanx you very much indeed mates ...

... together with "Running From The Dawn" i have ordered their new (at that time) "Embers EP", too ...

...  well even if there are (IMHO) only two really breathtaking catchy songs on the EP : "Mistakes" and "Surrender", the two other songs "Broken" and "Embers" are really good ... but not as breathtaking catchy as "Mistakes" and "Surrender"... well indeed ... it is Red Sun Revivals "own fault" =) that we addicted are still waiting for "Embers" to really go off like the other songs on their debut record do =) ...

... well luckily Red Sun Revival created and recorded their 2nd record shortly after the time i "met" their divine breathtaking catchy sound for me ... therefore i have been waiting for any sign of life, any new song they will publish for a while ... 

... but indeed i was really in fear ... in fear of that the 2nd record would only as half as good as their debut record, or worse O_o ...  

... just a few weeks ago Red Sun Revival published the official preview of "Identities" via their Youtube page ... as you here can see an listen to:
 

... these soundbites are really to short for me ... therefore i hopefully searched at the homepage of their german label Echozone to find some longer soundbites ... and indeed the 90 second long soundbites are much better to get a real impression of the song to come ...

... well i know my music taste well enough, to know that i will fell in love and addiction to "Identities", too, after the first few piano tone of "Premonition" =) ...

And since them i have got again an absolute Red Sun Revival phase: that is to say i am just listening only to "Identities" on my Multimedia-Player, my PCs, my Netbook, etc. ! =) ...

Conclusion:

... since  three-fourths year i am totally addicted to Red Sun Revival's divine filigree good old handmade Gothic Rock ... to their debut record "Running From The Dawn" and their 2nd record "Identities" a will be ....

... Red Sun Revival are now one of my absolutely favorite Gothic Rock bands! ...

Pink Floyd's neues Album "The Endless River" ist ein gigantisches und göttliches Abschiedsalbum

Seit etwas mehr als einer Woche (07.November 2014) besitze ich nun endlich meine Kopie von Pink Floyd's neuem Album "The Endless River" in der Deluxe Box und bin dem gigantischen und göttlich schönen Abschiedsalbum total verfallen, dass jedes Mal, wenn ich es anhöre besser und besser wird. 

Auch jetzt, beim Schreiben dieses Beitrags hier, höre ich mir "The Endless River" an =)

plötzlich ein neues Pink Floyd Album:

Ich habe mittlerweile immer weniger Zeit dazu im Internet zu surfen, so dass ich vor ein paar Wochen freudig überrascht war, plötzlich darüber zu lesen, dass es bald, 20 Jahre nach der Division Bell, ein neues Album von Pink Floyd geben solle.
Ich las folglich erst Mal Alles im Internet nach, was ich dazu an Informationen finden konnte: zuerst natürlich auf Pink Floyd's offzieller Internetseite. So erfuhr ich also, dass "The Endless River" eine Hommage an den vor ein paar Jahren verstorbenen Keyboarder Richard Wright ist und die letzten Aufnahmen von Richard Wright zusammen mit David Gilmour und Nick Mason zusammen als Pink Floyd enthält, die vor allem bei den "Division Bell" Aufnahme-Session entstanden sind. Und dass David Gilmour und Nick Mason zu den Keyboard-Passagen von Richard Wright  entsprechend ihre Gitarren-, bzw. Schlagzeug- Parts eingespielt hatten, etc. . Für weitere Informationen holte ich mir sogar nach Jahren Mal wieder die aktuelle Ausgabe der Eclipsed. 

Eines wusste ich ganz genau: das kommende, letzte Pink Floyd Album "The Endless River" musste ich unbedingt ebenfalls haben!

meine Erwartungen: 

Meine Erwartungen zum kommenden Album "The Endless River" waren hoch und wurden bei Weitem erfüllt! 
Denn im Gegensatz zu David Gilmour's Soloalbum "On An Island" wo ich ein floydsches Album erwartet hatte und zuerst bitter enttäuscht worden war [mehr...], und "On An Island" erst Jahre später so lieben lernte sollte [mehr...] dass ich mir sogar das entsprechende  Live-Album "Live in Gdansk" dazu ungebingt holen musste [mehr...], erwartete ich diesmal ein überwiegend ruhiges Album. 

Ehrlich gesagt hoffte ich auf einen so großartigen Sound wie er bspw. bei dem gigantischen und göttlich schönen "Marooned" einem meiner absoluten Lieblinssongs von Pink Floyd zu hören ist, der von der Division Bell stammt. Das offizielle Video zu "Marooned" kannst Du hier anschauen:

  


Zur Einstimmung auf die "The Endless River" hörte ich mir in den lezten Wochen auf meinem Multimedia-Player oft die "Division Bell" an. Denn es gab zwar schon angeblich Hörproben, ja sogar angeblich den ersten der 4 Teile, im Internet, aber so ganz traute ich nicht, dass er wirklich die Stücke vom kommenden "The Endless River" sein sollten, auch wenn diese herrlich nach Pink Floyd klangen! Und die Höhrschnipsel die von Pink Floyd veröffentlicht worden waren, waren einfach unbefriedigend, weil sie viel zu kurz waren um einen wirklichen Eindruck zu erlangen! 
Lustigerweise entging mir auch, dass es mit "Louder Than Words" ein offizielles neues Video von Pink Floyd zu "The Endless River" (ganz im Sinne des "Take it Back" Videos) gibt, dass ich aber erst seit ein paar Tagen kenne, also einige Zeit nachdem ich mir andauernd "The Endless River" anhöre =)

So kannte ich also eigentlich keinen Song vom neuen Album "The Endless River" wirklich, als ich mir vor etwas mehr als einer Woche endlich die Deluxe Box holte.

Im Gegensatz zu früher, habe ich mir (wie seit ein paar Jahren) das Album nicht sofort angehört, sondern die Stücke sofort mit Soundjuicer in OGG-Vorbis-Musikdateien umgewandelt (gerippt), damit ich mir "The Endless River" immer komplett auf meinem Multimedia-Player, meinen PCs, meinem Netbook,etc. anhören kann.  =)  

In letzter Zeit habe ich mir neue Alben immer erst Abends in Ruhe auf meiner Anlage über meine Senheiser Kopfhöhrer in entsprechender Lautstärke anhören können, ohne, dass ich dabei gestört werde, dass jeweilige neue Album in Ruhe genießen zu können. 

Was ich dann endlich hören durfte war einfach unglaublich gigantisch, wunderschön und herrlich ruhig, so wie ich es erhofft hatte. 

Fazit:

Pink Floyd's neues Album "The Endless River" ist wirklich gigantisch und göttlich schön und wird bei jedem Mal, wenn ich es anhöre besser und besser.

"The Endless River" ist wirklich das 20 Jahre lange Warten wert und ein göttlich schönes Abschiedsalbum.

Seit einigen Wochen, seit Freitag den 13. April habe ich meine (gekaufte) Kopie von Fields of the Nephilim live DVD "CEROMONIES"! Und seit dem Freitag den 13. April * der beste Freitag der 13. bisher überhaupt * habe ich wieder eine absolute Fields of the Nephilim- Phase: d.h. ich höre nur noch Fields of the Nephilim, also momentan "CEROMONIES" auf meinem Multimedia-Player, meinen PCs, meinem Netbook,etc. ! =)

Im Gegensatz zu früher habe ich mir die 2 "CEROMONIES" CDs nicht sofort angehört, sondern die Stücke sofort mit Soundjuicer in OGG-Vorbis-Musikdateien umgewandelt (gerippt), damit ich mir "CEROMONIES" immer komplett auf meinem Multimedia-Player, meinen PCs, meinem Netbook,etc. anhören kann.  =)

Nach dem sog. Rippen habe ich mir dann am endlich bewusst zuerst die göttliche "CEROMONIES" DVD komplett angeschaut:

Mir war ja bekannt, dass die Veröffentlichung von "CEROMONIES" deswegen so oft verschoben worden war, weil Carl McCoy ein absoluter Perfektionist ist und nur die beste Qualität, vor Allem für die Videos veröffentlichen wollte! Der sog. Teaser-Trailer mit Auszügen von "Mourning Sun" der schon vor ca. 2 Jahren auf der offiziellen Internetseite veröffentlicht wurde, deutete ja schon an, welche grandiose Bild- & Ton-Qualität zu erhoffen war:



Von den "CEROMONIES" Konzerten im Shepherds Bush Empire kursierten ja schon seit Jahren bei yt Videos mit leider ziemlich schlechter Qualität.

Aber dass dann die DVD eine solche absolut grandiose Bild- & Ton-Qualität aufwies hätte ich wirklich nicht zu hoffen gewagt! Darauf habe ich wirklich gerne solange gewartet!

Es ist einfach unglaublich, wie Carl McCoy es mit seinen aktuellen Fields of the Nephilim wirklich geschafft hat, die quasi uralten Stücke in die Neuzeit zu transformieren: die alten Stücke klingen so, als ob sie ein Upgrade erhalten hätten.


Neben dem göttlichen "Psychonaut" [Nachtrag 25.Mai 2012] wie Du hier sehen und hören kannst:


[Nachtrag 25.Mai 2012]  und "Trees Come Down" die jetzt noch Energie geladener klingen als früher, ist es besonders unglaublich wie der transformierte "Wail Of Sumer" & "And There Will Your Heart Be Also" Epos klingt, wie Du hier sehen und hören kannst:



Selbst "Moonchild", das ich seit Jahren nicht mehr hören konnte, zog mich sofort wieder in seinen Bann!

Fazit:

Jeder Jünger der Fields of the Nephilim sollte sich auf jedenfall  die göttliche "CEROMONIES" zulegen!
 
Zwar vermisse ich mein absolutes Lieblingsstück "Sumerland", aber die aufgenommen Songs besitzen einfach einen absolut unglaublich Sound (selbst wenn die Aufnahmen der beiden Konzerte nachbearbeitet worden sollten)!
Es ist einfach unglaublich, wie Carl McCoy es mit seinen aktuellen Fields of the Nephilim wirklich geschafft hat, die quasi uralten Stücke in die Neuzeit zu transformieren: die alten Stücke klingen so, als ob sie ein Upgrade erhalten hätten.

Es ist einfach unglaublich, welche Intensität die aktuellen Fields of the Nephilim auch diese beiden Stücke entlocken und welche grandiosen Sound sie entfachen. 

Die aktuelle Besetzung von Fields of the Nephilim ist die beste Besetzung der Fields of the Nephilim A.D.

DVD:
First of all after the converting i watch intentionally
the divine "CEROMONIES" DVD complete.  
It was well-known to me, that the release of "CEROMONIES" was displaced therefore so frequently  because  Carl McCoy is an absolute perfectionist and  will release solely the best quality.
The so-called Teaser-Trailer with extracts of "Mourning Sun" has been published ca. 2 years ago on the official Internetside foreshadowed the grandiose picture- & sound quality to be expected:
From the "CEROMONIES" concerts at the Shepherds Bush Empire circulated baddish quality videos on yt since years.
But i didn`t take a chande to expected that then the DVD offer such an grandiose picture- & Sound- quality.
Thereupon i have waited as long as willingly.
It is simple unbelievable, how Carl McCoy with his current Fields of the Nephilim has effective succeeded, to transform the as it were ancient songs into the modern age: the ancient songs sounds like the have achieved an upgrade.

Alongside the divine "Psychonaut" [addition 25.Mai 2012] as you here can see und listen to: [addition 25.Mai 2012] and "Trees Come Down" which by now sounds once more energetic than before, it is especially unbelievable how the transformed "Wail Of Sumer" & "And There Will Your Heart Be Also" Epos sounds like, as you here can see an listen to:
Even "Moonchild", which i couldn`t listen to to since many years, fascinated me immediately. 

Conlusion:

Every disciple/follower of Fields of the Nephilim should get "CEROMONIES" for oneself in any case!
Indeed i miss my absolute favorite song "Sumerland" so sadly, but the recorded songs simple offer an absolut unbelievable sound (even if the recordings of the two concerts should have been reworked)! 
It is simple unbelievable how Carl McCoy with his current Fields of the Nephilim has effective succeeded, to transform the as it were ancient songs into the modern age: the ancient songs sounds like the have achieved an upgrade.
It is simple unbelievable which intenseness the current Fields of the Nephilim worm of these two songs an which grandiose sound they arouse.

Die elektronische Mailingliste und Internetseite Sumerland.devin.com (von Fields of the Nephilim-Jünger für Fields of the Nephilim-Jünger) hat einen Artikel von Sonicshocks.com verlinkt in dem nach Jahren des Warten endlich der Veröffentlichungstermin für Fields of the Nephilim live DVD "Ceremonies "Ceromonies" bekannt gegeben worden ist! 

"Ceremonies "Ceromonies" soll am 5. März 2012 in England veröffentlicht werden! Wie lange wir dann hier in Deutschland warten müssen, bleibt leider erst ein Mal die Frage =/

Die offizielle Internetseite von Fields of the Nephilim ist bisher noch nicht mittlerweile aktualisiert worden, aber die elektronische Mailingliste und Internetseite Sumerland.devin.com hat sich bisher immer als sehr zuverlässige Informationsquelle erwiesen!

Auch wenn ich die limiterte Edition von : ankoku butoh : mit der DVD habe, auf der ein live Part ist, so musste ich doch : shoumei : haben, weile ich Jünger von FaM seit 1997 bin =)
